Project Lead (Account Manager)

Give B2B marketing teams confidence in their website projects, bringing clear judgement, direction and ownership from brief to launch.

  • Full-time
  • Remote

The opportunity

Lead B2B website projects from the first brief to launch. You’ll own the client relationship and delivery, giving marketing teams clear advice and specialists the direction they need to do their best work.

You’ll lead several website projects, reporting to the Head of Client Delivery and working primarily US Eastern hours, with some collaboration across UK and Pacific hours.

What you’ll do

Give the client a clear way forward

Understand the brand, marketing priorities and commercial goals. Lead client conversations, turn them into useful briefs and explain recommendations, progress and next steps. Raise concerns early with a recommended way forward.

Take the project from brief to launch

Own scope, plans and priorities in ClickUp across design, development, QA and launch. Track dependencies and capacity, resolve blockers and make the implications of changes clear.

Help specialists do their best work

Give the team context, turn feedback into clear direction and coordinate handoffs. Balance client expectations with scope and capacity, holding people accountable with respect.

Follow through on quality

Review the website against the brief and marketing objectives, coordinate QA and see issues through to resolution. Make or coordinate minor updates where appropriate. Use retrospectives to improve our workflows, documentation and delivery.

The expertise you’ll bring

  • Experience owning client relationships and project delivery. Creative, digital, web, branding or marketing agency experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong marketing knowledge, ideally B2B, and an understanding of how websites support positioning, campaigns and commercial goals.
  • The ability to manage several projects in ClickUp or a similar tool, spotting dependencies and scope issues early.
  • An understanding of design and development, including wireframes, responsive layouts, CMS and QA through launch.
  • Sound judgement in client calls and difficult conversations. You know when to clarify, challenge or escalate, and can recognise work that falls short.
  • The ability to give clear direction and hold people accountable while maintaining a collaborative relationship.
  • Practical AI experience for briefs, project information and repetitive admin, with your own judgement guiding decisions.
  • Fluent English and excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Useful additional experience

  • Leading website projects from brief to launch.
  • Hands-on Webflow knowledge. Prior Webflow experience is helpful but isn’t essential.
  • Working with B2B SaaS, technology or high-growth companies.
  • Brand or website strategy, demand generation, SEO or website performance.

How we’ll help you grow

Build direct relationships with ambitious B2B marketing teams, work closely with our specialists and help improve how Demandflow delivers as the company grows.

  • Performance bonuses and a clear path to promotion.
  • Access to frontier tools.
  • Dedicated learning time, funded development and regular feedback.
  • Work with specialists across brand, design, development and growth.
  • 25 days’ paid leave, plus one week off over Christmas.
  • Fully remote, with a flexible schedule around your role’s collaboration hours.

High standards, shared.

Take ownership, stay curious and obsess over the details. Collaborate without ego, give clear feedback and meet real client deadlines.
